Ten thousand baby boomers per day will turn 65 in the United States every day between now and 2030. By 2030, there will be over 70 million Americans over 65. That’s one out of every five Americans!
Because of the rapid growth in the senior population, home care services are very much needed. We strongly feel that our good intentions to take care of our senior population is one of our civic duties, and we are here to step up to the plate.
True Home Senior Care is a non-medical home care organization (HCO) based in San Jose, California. It is a women-owned small business (WOSB), a small disadvantaged business (SDB) as per SBA, and a general partnership between Anna David and Portia Oviso.
Both licensees/owners have a background in nursing school so it feels right that this would be the perfect business, to be an agency that matches the clients with the right home care aides (HCAs). As of now, the Bay Area is the area of concentration of the business, but it is their vision to bring their services to the entire state of California.
True Home Senior Care is licensed by the California Department of Social Services. It is also bonded and insured.
True Home Senior Care takes pride in the fact that it is located in San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley. It has a population of more than a million. It caters to the senior community of the Bay Area. There is a shortage of home care aides in this area. We believe in matching the clients with the right caregivers.
The California State Legislature established the Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act in 2015. As of January 2016, home care organizations (HCO) must be licensed and create an account on the public online registry called Guardian, a portal for home care aides (HCAs) who have been background-checked and vetted. They are also mandated to be trained for at least five hours for safety and elderly abuse before they can start working with the clients and annually afterward.

Hiring, vetting, and training caregivers before they are sent out to work at clients’ homes are the core of our business. True Home Senior Care is aware that training an intake professional who is adept at identifying the needs of clients is crucial in retaining and keeping them satisfied with its services.
True Home Senior Care‘s HCO is health-conscious and customer-centric with a service culture that is deeply rooted in the fabric of its organizational structure and, indeed, at all levels of the organization.
True Home Senior Care strives to consistently achieve its set business goals, increase its profitability, and reinforce its positive long-term relationships with its clientele, partners, and all its employees.
Our management team and caregivers use Home Care Pulse to improve the quality of our services.
Our Mission Statement
We are committed to providing high-quality, client-centered, and affordable home care services to clients. We seek to assist them in leading dignified and independent lives in the comfort and safety of their homes. We carefully assess, understand, and meet their individual needs through the selective assignment of qualified, trustworthy, and compassionate caregivers. After all, we are happy to make you happy.
Our vision is to become the number one choice when it comes to non-medical home care for seniors in the Bay Area. Furthermore, we aim to be the top HCO in California in the next five years and in the US within the next ten years.
We find satisfaction that we have established a “crème de la crème” service for our clients by training our caregivers according to what is required by law and treating our employees like jewels. The secret to a successful senior home care business is providing the services that people want and quality assurance is definitely in place.
Our clients will be taken care of with respect, dignity, compassion, tenderness, and love as they journey through their senior years. Our goal is to match, if not exceed the familial care that our clients have been accustomed to all their lives. It is our duty, not only to our clients but to their families as well.
We are also a strong believer in giving back to the community. We will initiate volunteer work or assistance to contribute to the well-being of our clients and caregivers. Our organization will choose a charity to foster senior and caregiver-related concerns, and if there is none, we will pioneer one.
